Job Description

Our biggest bases are at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich, Wedgwood House, BurySt Edmunds and Woodlands Unit in Ipswich but our staff are based in more than 50 locations.What youll be responsible for:

  • Record accurately all appropriate information on Clinical and Patient Administration Systems (CPAS).
  • Meet Trust requirements for timely data entry
  • Use routine reports to ensure that electronic records are kept up to date and accurate.
  • Investigate and where appropriate make corrections to any anomalies identified by Trust Managers / Clinicians.
  • Provide ad hoc reports using CPAS in response to queries from managers.
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Assist with the production and distribution of correspondence and literature associated with CPAS.
Youll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
  1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
Youll have the following skills/experience:
  • Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
  • Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Previous admin experience
  • Previous NHS experience
  • Ability to take note and compile reports, short hand writing
  • Excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure.
