Role – Production Technician rolesLocation – Based close to Diss, NorfolkWorking hours – Continental shifts – 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6amSalary –Starting from £28,904 rising to £33,572 per annum after training Capacity of role – Permanent positionOur client is a reputable and well established business who is currently recruiting for a Production Technician to join their busy team.Candidates ideally will have manufacturing based experience and will need own transport due to the location of the premises.Main duties will include – Ensuring all Quality control is completed on machinery and reporting any defaults to management Completing documentation relating to faults on machinery Working to good housekeeping practises Maintaining inventory of parts and supplies and ensuring you have enough materials to fulfil the production process. Inspect finished products at each stage to ensure quality standards are met Compare productions stats to targets to identify gaps Assist with pre-production machine set up and test runs Provide updates to supervisors and managers on line status Oversee safe equipment operations and coordinate safety inspections Support new equipment or process implementation Identify areas for potential quality, efficiency or productivity improvements Communicate common issues, bottlenecks, and vulnerabilities to engineering teams Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, Candidate Attributes – Previous mechanical based working experience Clear and proven competence of working in an engineering environment Ability to work using own initiative and to take responsibility for own workload To demonstrate clear and concise communication skills To have a loyal and methodical approach to problem solving Willingness to learn and to be trained on new tasksSkills:Production, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality based duties, Flexible to working patterns, Own transport, Communication skills, Able to work using own initiativeQualifications:Own driving licence and transport due to the location of the premises.Keywords:Production, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality based duties, Flexible to working patterns, Own transport, Communication skills, Able to work using own initiative
