Job Description

ADMISSIONS, RECRUITMENT AND MARKETING SERVICE MARKETING DEPARTMENT Marketing Automation and CRM OfficerRef: SC4398Starting salary from £27,929 per annum, dependant on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £34,308 per annum.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Automation & CRM Officer to join the UEA’s busy Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing Division.You will be responsible for supporting the planning, development and execution of UEA’s CRM roadmap. Working within the Marketing team at UEA, you’ll also be working closely with our Data & Systems team, as well as stakeholders across UEA and agency partners.You will be an advocate for CRM-led marketing, helping us on our journey as we move from a one to many’ data and segmentation approach to a more personalised and dynamic approach - using the power of data, insight and CRM tools to create a world-class studentjourney.You will work closely with colleagues to develop and integrate data-driven, multi-channel automated communications into the wider strategic plans. You will consult and help translate business needs and processes to our CRM platform Salesforce, bridging thegap between the creative and the technical. You will work collaboratively to devise helpful and persuasive communications across email, mobile, advertising, web, and print, ensuring that campaigns are measurable and insights inform future activity. You willhelp to build complex communication journeys and automations, providing ongoing technical support as well as identifying and implementing software changes to support future developments. You will therefore need to think and act both proactively and reactively.You will have the unique and exciting opportunity to take UEAs data and CRM to the next level through driving personalisation, uses of artificial intelligence, automation and analytics. The CRM functionality, campaigns and tests you will work on will helpthe UEA’s marketing to become best in the higher education sector and continue to attract high quality students.You will be a self-driven digital marketing expert, with strong CRM and technical campaign experience. You’ll have a desire to innovate and challenge convention with a good understanding and track record of implementing CRM tools and new technologies (ideallySalesforce). You will be data literate, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a way that is easily understandable to non-technical stakeholders. This includes being able to present data in a clear and concise manner, as well as beingable to explain the implications in a way that is meaningful to the audience.
