They are currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to fill the role of Manufacturing Engineer.Benefits:* Profit share up to 10%.* Flexible working including an option for hybrid.* Company days out.* Charity days.* Enhanced pension scheme.Key Performance Indicators:* Timely completion of tasks and projects in alignment with stakeholder expectations.* Accuracy of documentation, adhering to established standards* Develop and control Standard Operating Procedures for key products and processes.* Identify and implement manufacturing improvement projects.* Assist planning and purchasing teams in managing BOM structure for accurate manufacturing cost analysis.* Implement Lean Manufacturing Practices.* Engage in production problem-solving.Key Duties and Responsibilities:* Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to optimise manufacturing processes.* Investigate component failures and manufacturing issues.* Participate in lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.* Review drawings for form, fit, function, and adherence to standards.* Design improvements to manufacturing equipment and processes.* Support the implementation of new products, processes, and equipment.* Contribute to problem resolution through the CAPA system.* Support third-party certification activities to recognized standards.* Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.Person Specification: * BTEC HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent work experience.* Bachelors degree in mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.* Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Qualifications.* Previous experience in Engineering or Manufacturing.Skills:* Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.* Proficient in mechanical CAD (3D & 2D).* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Experience with MS Office suite or similar.* Familiarity with FMEA and SolidWorks 3D and 2D.Personal Attributes:* Drive for continuous improvement.* Self-motivated, approachable, and highly organised.* Customer-focused and able to maintain confidentiality.* Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally.Join us in pushing the boundaries of manufacturing engineering.
