Laboratory Technician - temporary£18,00 - £21,000 pro rata NorwichWe are recruiting for a young, ambitious and fast-growing consumer goods business based in Norwich who are looking to recruit a Scientific graduate / Laboratory Technician on a temporary basis, for a minimum of 6 weeks however this contract may go on for longer.This position is to start ASAP with an immediate start, so if you are a graduate only due to graduate later on in the year, unfortunately you may not be suitable for this opportunity.The purpose of this role is to assist the lab team in their duties such as conducting relevant product testing, assisting with scale up and updating paperwork and records. This role is ideal for someone looking to get their foot in the door with an entrepreneurial business whilst gaining some key skills to help develop their career further.Key Duties:* Assisting with running stability testing. Tasks include; measuring changes in pH, viscosity, appearance, odour, colour. * Assisting in the manufacturing lab-scale batches of bulk (1-2 kg)* Chasing up materials with suppliers for development projects * Keeping lab tidy and well organised * Updating lab paperwork and recordsKey Requirements:* Scientific degree in Chemistry or similar* Computer literacy - MS Office suite, Excel to a good standard * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Problem solving and analytical attitude* Fluent in English - written and spoken* Team player Required skills
