Atkinson Moss are pleased to be supporting a local logistics company operating across UK & Europe in their search for an HR & Training Manager. The remit of the role incorporates HR, Training, Recruitment, and Health and Safety. Full role responsibilitiesare detailed below:- Recruitment- Training Design and Delivery for operational staff, Induction & Training Needs Analysis- Staff Retention- Employment Law, Probation and Disciplinaries- Employee Communication- Timesheets, Wages and Annual Leave for operational staff- Responsibility for Health & Safety, First Aid and Fire processesPerson specification:- Excellent people management skills including leadership and line management- Problem solving and tactical decision-making- Communication skills written and verbal at all levels.- Good understanding and knowledge of best practice with Incident reporting- Training Design and Delivery- An HR qualification will be well regarded although experience within an HR role/setting with no qualification, will also be considered- Good understanding of H&S, First Aid and Fire processes (additional support offered from a third party company)The position requires someone with experience across all role responsibilities and ideally in a similar setting.This is a full-time, permanent position, fully office based working Monday - Friday, 40hrs per week.
