Tennial Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Cook for a vibrant familys household located in Great Plumstead. The position is permanent, and the working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:45am to 5:00pm, with flexibility. The family,who own and operate a local business, has a keen eye for detail, maintains high standards and expectations, and values healthy food. A balanced and nutritious diet is essential to them. In return, they are offering a competitive salary along with a car.Main Purpose of the Role: As a Housekeeper/Cook, your primary responsibilities will include cleaning and organising the various areas of the house, such as the kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Maintain a hygienic environment by regularly disinfectingsurfaces, washing linens and towels, and taking out the rubbish. Prepare nutritious and healthy meals for the family. Planning meals that are well-balanced and meet the dietary needs of each family member. Occasional child care services, such as babysitting,school pick-up and drop-off for their delightful 2yr old Daughter.You Will Be Responsible For:• Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Cleaning the kitchen and dining areas. Presenting menus for approval and discussing daily requirements.• Dealing with grocery shopping and maintaining accounts and budgets. Placing orders for kitchen supplies, maintaining stock levels.• Keeping kitchen pots, pans and work surfaces clean and in good condition.• Ensuring refrigerator is clean and out-of-date items discarded.• Tidying and cleaning all rooms such as; bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas• Cleaning any brass/silver and furniture• Cleaning windows• Collecting, washing and ironing laundry. Hand washing delicate items• Arranging for dry-cleaning• Answering door and telephone• Feeding pet Cat• Keeping patios, pathways and steps clean and tidy• Watering household plants• Handling petty cash and debit cards• Notifying home owners of necessary repairs or issues• Dealing with tradesmen, suppliers and contractors• Managing security alarms• Occasional child care services, such as babysitting, school pick-up and drop-off.Carrying out any other tasks that the employer may reasonably askWe are seeking a candidate with:• Previous experience in housekeeping and cooking roles.• Excellent attention to detail and planning abilities.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.• Knowledge of household equipment such as washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, and cookers.Privacy and Confidentiality: Respecting the familys privacy is crucial, and no pictures of the premises should be taken or used for personal or social media purposes.Flexibility: The successful candidate should be flexible, as occasional childcare services will be required, and overnight stays may be necessary when the parents are away on business.If you are a skilled Housekeeper/Cook looking for a long-term commitment in managing a family home, and if you possess the qualities and experience outlined above, we look forward to hearing from you!
