Job Description

Head of TaxNorwich£60k-£70k plus annual bonusOur client, a well-known and expanding group business based on the outskirts of Norwich, have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Corporate Tax. They also allow hybrid working, usually split 3 days in the office and 2 from home.Ideally you will be ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified with at least 3 years experience dealing with corporate tax matters. You must have ability to lead and manage a team in a fast paced environment. You will have a keen eye for detail and an analytical mindset.In your role as Head of Corporate Tax, you will also be responsible for:

  • Lead a team of corporate tax advisors, offering guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative workplace culture.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the corporate tax team, ensuring adherence to UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Handle advanced advisory tasks and review the work of junior team members.
  • Develop and enhance processes and controls concerning tax compliance and reporting, emphasising accuracy and promptness.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing value in tax planning, structuring, and optimisation to bolster business growth and profitability.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong partnerships with external advisors, tax authorities, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and present data of business unit performance, offering insight and recommendations to the Board.
