Our dedicated events teams stage high profile events across a range of sectors including Business, Food and Drink, Tourism and French Property in various geographical areas including Devon, East Anglia and Yorkshire. They have remained busy with online events, webinars and awards reveals continuing even throughout lockdown.We are looking for a very experienced candidate for this Head of Events opportunity. You would have worked at a senior level within an agency or business and will be used to managing and delivering a full, busy and varied national events program. This is a full-time maternity cover contract offering 12 months.From conception to delivery this role is all about planning, organisation, logistics, health and safety, budgets and business strategy. Working closely with our Director of Partnerships and Events you will work to decide and lead on key projects creating plans and budgets and managing delivery.Our events run throughout Britain - from an on-line event that is just an hour to four day consumer facing shows running in Yorkshire. You will manage these from conception to delivery - being hands-on at events all over the country to ensure they run to smoothly and to meet the business aims and objectives.This role is based primarily from our offices in Norwich the successful candidate will live within a reasonable commute of this location. You will be able to drive and be excited at the prospect of attending events wherever they are based including at weekends and in the evenings.We are looking for a mid to end of June start date.YOU WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE OF:
