Job Description

Geotechnical EngineerReference: BY1224Location: NorwichSalary: £28,000 - £35,000An industry leading, well established geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy based in Norwich (with multiple offices across the UK) are seeking a driven and experienced geotechnical engineer to join their expanding team. With nearly 50 years of expertiseand countless awards demonstrating their reputation in the industry, this consultancy is fully equipped to support a geotechnical engineer through a variety of projects - developing their skills and career in a supportive environment.The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be provided with:

  • A top salary (£28,000 - £35,000).

  • Varied and exciting day-to-day responsibilities and projects to work on.
This Geotechnical Engineer position requires focussed work on a variety of projects. Youll be carrying out risk assessments, logging, supervising drilling, training junior team members and writing factual and interpretative reports. Client liaison and ensuringprojects are delivered within budget and deadlines will also be essential.The successful Geotechnical Engineer will:
  • Have a degree in geotechnical or civil engineering (or a similar/relevant subject).
  • Have experience as a geotechnical engineer.
  • Have exceptional communication skills, ideally with experience leading a team and/or supervising junior members.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • Be commutable to the Norwich area.
