You are an established Audit Manager seeking a fresh challenge, or an Assistant Audit Manager looking for progression.Your next firm is a high calibre, reputable, growing regional Chartered Certified accountancy practice.Your role is that of Audit Manager to Corporate clients, with full accountability for providing statutory services including accounts preparation and tax compliance to a diverse portfolio.You will work on site as well as remotely, gaining an detailed understanding of the businesses so as to be a valuable and viable business partner.Tasks include: Oversee and control the completion of audit assignments including system, controls, and planning, attending on site when required. Revise and complete audit file, finalisation of accounts work undertaken and conclude final points, all for Partner review. Prepare projections and forecasting; review and finalise MI. Mentor, inspire, supervise, and coach your team assigned and contribute to non-audit work. Recruit, train and develop direct reports; undertake appraisals and periodic reviews.You will also play a key part in maintain strong existing client relationships, developing new partnerships through raising the profile of the firm.As Audit manager you will also take ownership of special assignments such as Corporate Finance, NFP, Legal and Financial Services.As an experienced people manager from an audit background, you will hold a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS), with audit knowledge gained through working with medium sized businesses to UK regulations, be an effective business partner both internallyand externally.Remote working is also available, with attendance to the office 2-3 days a month or at the clients site which are located locally to the office.This prestigious post comes with a highly attractive salary and benefits – apply now or contact Natalie Harden at Reed for a confidential initial discussion.
