Job Description

Role - Control Systems Engineer - InnovationContract - PermanentLocation - Norwich, NorfolkSalary - up to £55,000 DoEAn amazing opportunity with a Hi-Tech Special Purpose Machinery Manufacturer who are a Global Market Leader within the high quality, high precision Food Manufacturing Machinery industry.The company have been a Market Leader now for over 50 years after developing the industry first machinery of their kind. All design / R&Dand Manufacturing done at their headquarters in Norwich, with machinery sold worldwide.Duties of the Controls Systems Engineer include:

  • Design system solutions for new products
  • Design and implement control software to meet product specifications and safety standards
  • Where necessary create Integrated 3rd party hardware solutions including the required software
  • Conduct site trials and find solutions to any problems encountered
  • Monitor product performance and identify areas for improvement for both existing systems and new products
Skills & experience required to be successful for the Control Systems Engineer role:
  • HND / BEng or Meng within an Engineering discipline
  • Previous experience working within a Controls Systems Engineering team, ideally within special purpose machinery
  • Proficiency of using Rockwell RSLogix5000 as well as experience with PLC and motion control
  • Understanding and abilities within software and electrical design
  • Flexibility for potential international travel
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
