Job Description

Commercial Manager - Painting SolutionsNorwich (NR2)£90,000 + PackageOur client is a leading provider of painting solutions for commercial and industrial clients. With a commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction, we have established a strong reputation in the industry. We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedCommercial Manager with expertise in painting solutions to join our team and help drive our continued growth and success. As a Commercial Manager - Painting Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our commercial painting services division. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our painting projects,from initial client engagement to project completion. Your leadership, industry knowledge, and business acumen will be essential in ensuring the success of our painting solutions department.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets within the commercial painting solutions segment.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, including property owners, facility managers, and contractors.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to prepare competitive proposals, bids, and contracts for painting projects.
  • Ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor project managers, estimators, and field teams to optimize performance and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes.
  • Manage financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among team members.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in commercial painting solutions, including project management and business development.
  • Strong understanding of painting techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the painting industry.
