Job Description

R13 Recruitment are excited to be supporting a reputable retailer in their search for a Buyer to join the team. You will be responsible for overseeing the buying team, as well as the product lifecycle from conception to delivery, ensuring company profit margins are met.This is a full time, permanent position working 9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday based in Norwich, with occasional National and International Travel, and is offering a competitive salary depending on experience.The companyOffering a broad range of high-quality products, this reputable retailer has over 20 stores across the UK and an established online presence.   • Analysing market trends and company activity to ensure effective sales potential and optimising buying strategy.
  • Supporting the Buying team, managing internal and external communications, maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Negotiating pricing with key suppliers.
  • Ensuring products are safety compliant, and are merchandised within company and brand guidelines.
You will have/be
  • Previous experience in managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills, and ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to work well under pressure and with own initiative.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable nature, and ability to make business decisions.
  • Good IT skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
