Job Description

My client is a very successful local organisation offering professional training in the Financial Services Sector as well as apprenticeships and leadership training.The purpose of this role is to primarily sell the company’s services to individuals, businesses and other organisations. As well as approaching potential customers with the aim of winning new business, you will strive to maintain good relationships with existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible. You will be responsible for the onboarding of both employers and learners, ensuring a smooth and timely start to their training programmes.One of the huge benefits of this role is that it will be largely carried out from home.Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain excellent product knowledge
  • Build good working relationships within the industries that we operate; you will achieve this through a professional aptitude at all times
  • Perform organisational needs analysis on prospective sales opportunities to ensure our services are a best fit for them
  • Perform market research to identify new business development opportunities and make new business approaches
  • Present professionally and appropriately to make a sale
  • Ensure all systems are kept up to date with accurate information to ensure effective relationships management
  • Negotiate on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers whilst ensuring you do not exceed your authority
  • Liaise with stakeholders to check the progress of agreed sales
  • Communicate effectively with learners and employers, guiding them through the onboarding process
  • Track and administratively support the onboarding process, ensuring key information is received, and outstanding information chased
  • Liaise with both employers and prospective learners to arrange enrolments and inductions onto our programmes
  • Ensure all literature is up to date for an effective sales position, including but not limited to digital literature, website and promotional materials
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
  • Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues
  • Any other duties as required by your line manager

  • 5 years’ experience of working in a sales role and environment (essential)
