Job Description

Reed are working with an excellent client in Norfolk who are searching for an Audio Typist to join the team on a permanent basis, for their office on the outskirts of Norwich (East).Purpose of the roleYou will provide a comprehensive audio typing and administration service in typing reports, property letters and other documents to establish turnaround times through digital dictation equipment. You will also carry out administration duties, as required, insupport of formatting and proof-reading reports, working as part of a team who co-ordinate activities in support of the Survey Department, ensuring high standards of customer service, dealing with panel managers, private companies and members of the public.Working hours of Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm with 1 hour lunch break.Key Accountabilities• To support the regionally based Surveyors in being a point of contact for administration and customer support following the valuation/survey appointment booking.• To provide audio typing services in supporting surveyors using digital dictation.• Typing speed and accuracy will be tested within the selection process.• To complete property research checklists to support surveyor appointments in establishing key information and comparable data.• To issue terms and conditions to clients and customers.• To ensure jobs are correctly invoiced and payments have been received.• To provide customer service support during the hours of 9:00am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday. To be a first point of contact for customer queries and complaints following the survey inspection.• To proof read and format reports to ensure that they meet required standards and that they are sent to the customer within an agreed timescale.• To deal with Panel PVQs and audit result via the surveyors and senior technical manager.• To provide service to our Housing Association clients including report queries, invoicing and extension letters for valuations.• To observe client confidentiality and to ensure that a professional service is provided at all times.• To work with all Watson’s people and Departments in promoting Survey’s services and building cross referrals.
