Job Description

Architectural Technician/TechnologistNorwichJob - EGNO8Salary - £30-40k (Salary negotiable depending on experience)Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting this well-established practice, currently looking for an Architectural Technician/Technologist to join their team.My client manages all aspects of design, construction, project management. They specifically work on Residential, Commercial and Hospitality projects. So, Candidates will need to have proven experience working in these sectors.Suitable candidates will be proficient in ArchiCad. However, this is not essential.You will be expected to go to site meetings so access to personal car would be required.Key jobs duties for this Role.

  • Responsible for the site delivery of projects, leading projects teams.
  • Liaising with both internal and external consultants.
  • Liaising with clients in regard to their specifications, wants and need
  • Chairing Design team meetings, client meetings, Siting meetings and Technical review meetings
  • Producing conceptual designs to present to clients
  • Developing specifications and tender documentation
  • Producing detailed working drawings.
  • Co-ordination and approval of specialist sub-contractor designs.
  • Ensuring the checklist is compiled for the tender packs
  • Development of planning scheme into detailed construction drawings
  • Development of Specification and tender documentation
  • Producing monthly progress reports.
  • Signing off Planning condition, building control and client reports.
