We are delighted to be able to offer a secondment as UTC manager at Friarage Hospital Northallerton. Folowing a period of public consultation and service changes, the Friarage Urgent Treatment Centre is developing as the 24/7 hub for urgent care for Hambleton and Richmondshire. We provide accessible urgent care to our largely rural population. We work closely with hospital services, the ambulance service and primary care colleagues to ensure every patient receives the right care, in the right place, at the right time.This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who would like to develop further in nurse leadership, work with a forward-thinking and dynamic multi-disciplinary team and improve patient experience through partnership working.Band 7 experience is desirable but applicants from band 6’s with a flexible, can do attitude are welcomed. Experience of the UTC environment and the ENP role is also desirable. Experience of elements of the management role such as erostering and delivering on patient quality and safety initiatives will support your application. You will be able to demonstrate how you support the delivery of the nursing quality and safety agenda.We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and to look outwards and collaborate to identify and implement best practice. You will be focused on providing first class service for our patients, relatives and clinical teams. You will be self-motivated, well-organised and able to juggle competing priorities. Your leadership style will support the on-going development of staff and the service model through transformational change.Informal visits are welcomed.
