Job Description

RSR Police is a market leading recruitment business dedicated to supplying experienced practitioners on a temporary, contractual or permanent basis to the Law Enforcement, Cyber Security, Offender Management and Regulatory Services talent markets.RSR Police are currently recruiting for a SPOC Investigator who specialises in telecommunications on a 3 month temporary contract based in Northallerton. To be considered you will need to currently hold or previously held the SPOC accreditation.Role

  • Single Point of Contact for accessing communications data from the Telecommunications Operators and Internet Service Providers by the use of online systems,
  • Ensuring that the data obtained is stored in accordance with both the code of practice and LEA policy.
  • Process and authorise Ripa requests from applicants around the force.
  • Liasing with designated senior officers relating to those applications/authorities at the required level of grading
  • To review covert authorities and communications data applications to ensure compliance with both Human Rights and current legislation
  • Liaison with outside agencies such as IPCO, OCDA, NCA and other forces in respect of appliances and good practice relating to Covert Policing Operations.
