Job Description

Painter and Decorator Northallerton, North Yorkshire £28,011 per annum plus vehicle for business use6 month fixed term contractFull time (37 hours)Our client is currently seeking a Painter and Decorator to carry out related repairs to properties owned or managed by the Association.The RoleYou will also assist with the delivery of an excellent customer focussed service, along with skill related tasks. You will be responsible for general priming, undercoating and glossing of timber and metal items. Other duties will include plaster patching,full and partial redecoration to void and occupied properties.Youll have:

  • Completed a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent and/or minimum of NVQ Level 3 or its equivalent.
  • The ability to undertake maintenance work across a number of separate trades.
  • The ability and confidence to drive
  • Relevant City & Guilds Basic Craft Certificate.
  • Knowledge of construction methods.
  • Experience of dealing with the public.
  • Experience working in the housing repair /maintenance sector.
