MTrec’s New Opportunity;MTrec Technical are proudly representing our manufacturing client, based in Northallerton, by supporting their newest recruitment drive, by recruiting a permanent Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their organisation. A successful candidate will beresponsible for ensuring all plant, machinery and buildings are maintained to a high standard to allow the safe and effective running of the business.   • Site Maintenance - Ensure plant, machinery and building maintenance is carried out to ensure the safe and efficient running of the plant.
  • Engineering Stocks - Ensure minimum stock levels of engineering consumables are maintained.
  • Contractor Control - Ensure all third-party contractors adhere to company site policies.
  • Legislative Compliance - Ensure all inspections and services are carried out within the appropriate legislative regulations.
  • Engineering / PPE Procurement - Carry out necessary procurement of all engineering spares and company PPE, maintaining best value practices.
  • Health & Safety - Ensure work areas are a safe environment.
  • Planned, Preventative and Reactive maintenance duties on all onsite equipment.
About You;
  • Previous experience within a maintenance position or similar.
  • Time-served engineer.
  • Mechanically bias maintenance experience.
  • Basic welding experience would be beneficial.
  • Other relevant qualifications would be beneficial.
  • Reliable.
  • Ability to work as a team or individually.
