Job Description

I am working with a reputable business who is based in Northallerton as they are recruiting for a HR Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a 12-month contract role to cover maternity leave.To be successful in this role you must have HR Advisor experience along with Sage Payroll knowledge as this is an integral part of the role. You will work closely alongside of the MD and the full management team, you will assist with recruitment, absencesand disciplinaries along with ah-hoc HR duties.Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment - permanent and temporary, admin for starters and leavers
  • Oversee all disciplinary and grievance matters
  • Oversee all personnel issues and requests
  • Liaise with H&S Manager for Occupational Health and Training
  • Document control of employee training records
  • Monitor and record holiday & absence days using SAGE HR and Mitrefinch Time & Attendance software
  • Personnel correspondence, arranging and attending meetings as per the Absence procedure
  • Apprentice admin and reviews
  • Confidant to all members of staff
  • Cover SAGE Payroll during holidays and absence
  • Accommodation and travel booking as and when required
  • Office and stationary ordering
  • Check e-mails that come in and forward to relevant staff
