Spencer Clarke Group are working closely alongside a Housing Association in North Yorkshire to assist with the appointment of a Development Manager on a Temp to Perm contract.We are keen to speak to experienced Construction/Development Project Managers, with significant knowledge of project management and housing developments, ideally with experience working for a Local Authority or Housing Association previously.Contract DetailsSalaryUp to £50k per annum plus benefitsLocation Site based on multiple sites around North YorkshireContract Length Temp to Perm contractKey Responsibilities- To lead the day-to-day running of the Projects- To ensure that building projects are completed safely, within an agreed timeframe, to quality and budget- To manage the contractual side of every stage of the build, you will work closely with contractors, architects, engineers, planners, surveyors and other building professionals in planning and delivery- To be accountable for commercial WIP management, contractor negotiations, client compensation events, local tender pricing, Sub Contractor Management including negotiation of SLAs & Rates, and cost management- To work alongside consultants preparing feasibility studies and technical works, total business plan value c. £5m.- To oversee construction and consultancy contracts, including preparation of scope of works and contract administration, total business plan value c. £15m.Experience Needed- Significant knowledge of project management and housing developments delivered on time and to budget- Demonstrable understanding of overseeing multiple construction sites within a commercial programme.- Experienced in contractual matters in relation to tenders, contracts, subcontracts, warranties etc.- Relevant Level Qualification in development, construction, Project Management.- Recognised project management qualification or demonstrable practical experience.If you are interested in the role or would like to know more, please apply now, then contact Joe at Spencer Clarke Group on .
