As a key player in their team, youll work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure their clients receive a top-notch service. As an Accounting Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will encompass: - Completing and submitting financial statements, business taxation, and personal taxation for your portfolio of clients by the deadlines. - Briefing Accounting Assistants/Seniors at the start of assignments to ensure clear understanding and approval of job plans and budgets. - Providing technical support and oversight to Accounting Assistants/Seniors. - Resolving complex queries directly with clients. - Monitoring progress on active assignments and preventing overruns. - Ensuring adjustments after review are correctly completed by the team. - Preparing draft financial statements, meeting agendas, and more for client interviews. - Timely completion of VAT returns, bookkeeping, and management accounts assignments. - Collaborating with the Accounting Partner to set formal objectives for your team. To excel in this role, you should be: - ICAS/ACA/ACCA Qualified with professional Accounting experience. - A motivated individual dedicated to delivering exemplary client service. - Positive and solution-oriented in your interactions with colleagues and clients. - Proficient in managing and supporting colleagues under your supervision, including conducting appraisals and reviews. - Highly organised with excellent workload planning and prioritisation skills. - Self-confident, approachable, and skilled at building lasting client relationships. - Well-versed in applicable Accounting Standards.
