Job Description

Our client is a large local charity that works to improve the lives of vulnerable people across the North East.BackgroundThis role could be the ideal career opportunity for you if you have previous experience of youth work and are looking for a new challenge. This role will be responsible for designing, creating and rolling out new programmes and provisions across the organisation.The role is part time (25 hours a week) and permanent.Duties & Responsibilities

Contribute to the growth and development of youth and community work
Oversee the execution of programmes
Support the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure a highly skilled team to support the execution of various programmes
Develop the organisations relationships with key partner organisations and local public bodies
Contribute to the delivery of high-quality and impactful youth and community work
Collaborate as a key member of the grant and fund team, actively contributing the identification of potential income

Person specification

Previous experience in youth work, including experience launching programmes and writing detailed proposals
Sound knowledge of safeguarding and safe work practices
A full clean driving license and access to your own vehicle
Flexible approach to working hours
