Job Description

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - 50/50 North Shields Manufacturing Monday to Friday - Days £38,000 - £40,000 + overtimeGi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a national manufacturer. The company in question is a leading independent specialist with 6 sites nationally. Job Role:As an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site. Typical Duties will involve:

  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance of all equipment on site, Providing reactive and preventative maintenance (PPMs)
  • PLC troubleshooting, sensors, motors, single and three phase, control systems.
  • Reading electrical schematics
  • General onsite maintenance as and when required.
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Gearboxes, shafts, rollers, drive train systems and ability to strip down machines and rebuild them.
Desirable experience
  • Have to have a relevant Engineering qualification - Electrical or Mechanical
  • Have to be experienced in manufacturing environment.
  • Pneumatics

  • Conveyors and automation lines
