Job Description

You will be working directly with the Factory Manager in a busy factory and on site . You will be required to fabricate & weld products. Having experience working with Stainless and Mild Steel and Aluminium.You must be competent in using a Press Brake, Guillotine, and several hand tools to shape and cut materials. The right candidate will ideally have a working background in the fabrication industry as a fabricator. It is essential to be able to understandand can work with engineering drawings and schematic diagrams. MIG skills are essential, Work will include working on the factory floor and going out on-site to fit works. As the role progresses you will be required to carry out installations on the customerspremises.Working directly with the Factory Manager you will be expected to:

  • Fabricate and weld products
  • Prepare materials
  • Carry out metal fabrication development
  • Use CNC Press Brake, Guillotine, and several hand tools to shape and cut materials.
  • Understand and work on engineering drawings and schematic diagrams.
  • MIG Skill
  • TIG Welding skills would be helpful but not essential
  • Work with Stainless & Mild Steel and Aluminium.
  • Make deliveries (work will include working on the factory floor and going out on-site to fit works)
  • Operate a Forklift (where qualified)
  • Hold a CSCS card or similar
