Job Description

Blair West is working in partnership with Isoclad Ltd, the UK’s largest independent manufacturer of insulated panels and ancillaries, as they look to add a Management Accountant to their finance team.Reporting into the Financial Controller in this office-based role, the main focus will be to produce management accounts, focus on the balance sheet, and provide support to the FC for ongoing business-wide projects. The opportunity:

  • Produce financial statements including P&L Accounts, balance sheet, cash flow/variance analysis and commentaries.
  • Production of month-end/year-end journals.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support with external audit procedures.
  • Preparation of weekly/monthly flash reports.
  • Assist in the development of the finance function within a new ERP, and dashboard reporting.
  • Gross margin and variance analysis and reporting.
  • Continuous review of accounting processes with process improvement and efficiencies in mind.
  • Partner with Materials Manager to analyse data and make recommendations.
  • Other ad-hoc requests and duties from Group.
Youll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
  • Part/Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA).
  • Experience of an ERP System, particularly Epicor.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment very preferential.
  • Ability to interpret financial information and provide insight, explaining to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
