Job Description

Learning Support Assistant A primary school based in the London borough of Camden has an opening for a Learning Support Assistant to join the school on a full time basis. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be working on a 1:1 basic with an Autistic boy in Year 3.**SEN Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant**LSA/ ASD/ Autism/ Key Stage 2/ Year 3**Camden Location**Long term supply/ full time**Pate rate from £80-£95 PAYE per day based on experience**January 2024Are you a driven individual who has the skills and drive to work on a 1:1 basis with an autistic child in a primary school settingDo you have prior experience working with SEN children and can commit to a full academic year as an SEN Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support AssistantIf so then we might have the ideal opportunity for you!At Academics we are searching for outstanding SEN Teaching Assistants/ Learning Support Assistant who feel passionately about making a real difference to the lives of their students. Our client school, based in the outer London borough of Brent, can offergreat experience of working in a primary school setting and it can be the platform to kick-start your career in a mainstream primary school.The school offers a range of opportunities for a Learning Support Assistant. There are regular training courses on offer, plus the option of taking extra curricular activities. The ideal candidate will be working closely with the class teacher in Year 3and the SENCO to ensure the pupil is supported and on task daily.To be considered for this full time SEN Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant job youll need to be:

  • Academically sound in English and maths
  • Enthusiastic and passionate regarding working with SEN children
  • Experienced with working with ASD children
  • Qualified at degree level
  • Available to work full time for the full academic year
  • Available to start work ASAP
