Job Description

Due to a wave of UK growth, our client is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team in a field-based role covering the M4 pathway. They are committed to ensuring their suite of decontamination products, solutions and services is both complete and robust.The role As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be an essential contact regarding technical and service queries for customers, acting as a first line of call. You’ll join a team of endoscopy engineers ensuring the smooth service, installation, and maintenance of our client’sportfolio, via both onsite and telephone support. In this customer-facing role, you’ll focus on providing swift advice and successful modifications to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.Responsibilities include:

  • Prioritising equipment uptime and efficiency
  • Providing assessment of machine operation, technical problems, and applications
  • Maintaining accurate reports and technical documentation
  • Taking a methodological, assertive and proactive approach
  • Liaising with clinical clients and stakeholders
  • Assessing training courses for professional development
The requirements This role is suitable for candidates with an Electronic or Electrical HNC/HND qualification, apprenticeship, or degree, with 5+ years’ experience operating as a Field Service Engineer, as well as:
  • High level product knowledge (desirable)
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment
  • Personable, a clear communicator, and passion for excellent customer service
  • Problem solver and technically minded
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Comfortable working individually and in a team environment
  • Ability to manage workload and diary competently
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • A valid driving licence and comfortable covering a wide territory when needed
  • Keen to develop personally and professionally
