Job Description

Corporate Landlord service and new build director needed in London Ref 1153474£553.65per day paye or £725.00per day umbrellaInterim service director to manage non-residential corporate landlord services & housing new build, within community wealth building directorate.Key responsibilities

  • To direct the Client’s most ambitious housebuilding programme for 30 years, overseeing the building of new homes for rent and sale, including identification of sites, all consultations, planning compliance, designation of developments for people with specialsupport needs and delivery of the building programme.
  • Lead an in-house new build housing team that demonstrates commercial acumen but also embodies the council’s commitment to fairness and works closely with our communities.
  • Develop and oversee an effective and long-term process of engagement with our residents, ensuring the community supports the development of vital new homes
  • Manage budgets, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivery and realised benefits as the new build programmes progress, including maintaining robust risk management processes.
  • Delivering the Corporate Asset Strategy and supporting associated governance.
  • Maintaining a high quality non-residential asset register, meeting all statutory and regulatory requirements and the ongoing development of the corporate asset management plan.
