Foxburrow Farm is a diverse farming business based in Mid-Norfolk near the market town of Dereham. Due to the growth of the farm portfolio, we are looking to recruit an Agricultural Mechanic working either full or part-time, negotiable.The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Carrying out diagnostics, servicing and repairs for all farm vehicles, light commercial vehicles, trailers, plant and equipment.
• Ongoing maintenance to all plant and machinery.
• Emergency repair work as needed.
• Working with the other mechanic to support with private vehicle work.
• Small welding jobs.
• Responsible for keeping the tool shed and storage area tidy and maintaining all equipment and tools.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy work environment.

Person SpecificationAgricultural Mechanic:

• Must have an agricultural engineering or relevant mechanic qualification.
• Previous mechanical experience with knowledge of diesel and petrol machines and welding of different metals, along with a proven record in agricultural maintenance would be advantageous.
• An interest in or previous knowledge/experience of large farming machines such as diggers, telehandlers etc will be useful, or someone with the right attitude to research and learn on any equipment not used before.
• You should be friendly and approachable, with the ability to work well as part of a large team.
