Job Description

PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY FOR A SITE SUPERVISOR IN NORFOLKCore Recruiter are recruiting for a Site Supervisor to join a reputable on-site paint spraying contractor based in Norwich, who specialise in re-spraying cladding, roofs and shop fronts, as well as undertaking floor coatings, intumescent spraying and commercialdecorations.Salary/Package; Up to £35k plus packageJob Duties

  • Overseeing projects from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within its budget
  • Ensuring optimum client satisfaction to support the continuation of repeat work
  • Management of a team of sprayers and labourers to ensure productivity and quality of output.
  • Creating project programmes and finishing schedules to meet deadlines
  • Resourcing and co-ordinating labour
  • Ordering and keeping records of materials and labour
  • Attendance at site meetings
  • Producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements and ensuring all site workers are adhering to written procedures
  • Ensuring all instructions for extra works are received in writing before commencement
  • Overseeing the completion of day work sheets and that they are completed correctly then authorising for payment
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Experience of working in a relevant supervisor role managing commercial / industrial contracts
  • Ability to effectively plan, allocate and supervise staffing, plant and material resources
  • Full driving license (maximum of 6 penalty points)
  • Knowledge of implementing risk assessments and method statements to ensure good safety ethos on site
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • IT competency (Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel)
  • Awareness of commerciality and profitability
  • IPAF, CSCS and SSSTS/SMSTS
Package on Offer
  • £30k-£35k depending on experience
  • Overtime and working away at 1.5 x salary
