• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance student understanding and engagement in physics concepts.
• Provide clear explanations of complex physics theories, principles, and experiments, ensuring students grasp fundamental concepts effectively.
• Regularly assess student progress, understanding, and skill development through formative and summative assessments.
• Identify and address individual student needs, differentiating instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a love for physics by organizing extracurricular activities, such as science clubs, competitions, or field trips, to expand students scientific horizons.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior, providing timely feedback to students, parents, and school leadership.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the science department to share best practices, develop curriculum materials, and contribute to the overall improvement of the department.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of physics, incorporating relevant advancements and discoveries into lessons to inspire students and promote scientific inquiry.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant degree in Physics or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching physics to secondary school students, preferably in an independent school setting.
• Excellent knowledge of the physics curriculum and a passion for imparting this knowledge to students.
• Strong pedagogical skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students in their scientific learning journey.
• Effective classroom management skills, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Proficiency in utilizing educational technologies and resources to enhance teaching and learning.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents.
