Stores Person – Glengormley - £25,000 per annumClemence Rogers are currently working in partnership with our client in the recruiting of a Stores person to be based in Glengormley in Northern Ireland working for our client who specialise in the trucking and haulage sector.Key Responsibilities• Control and order stock.• Purchase the most cost-effective parts/supplies by comparing prices• Record purchases in the order book appropriately• Check parts delivered are correct• Complete purchase order sheet in full (including prices).• Telephone politely at all times.• Allocate parts to particular jobs or to stock on ordering• Complete job cards as appropriate• Make regular stock checks• Replace stock as necessary• Control the use and return of tools• Grease/oil and generally keep in good order all company tools• Check equipment as appropriate or as is necessary• Order new tools about Health and Safety legislation and guidelines, as appropriate (e.g. noise, vibration). Liaise as necessary with H&S Manager.• Deal with deliveries and returns promptly.• Keep the stock room tidy, safe and in good order.• Report directly to the manager.• Experience of CDK and Mercedes TrucksIdeal Candidate• Previous knowledge of stores preferable• Computer skills important.• Driving license necessary• Knowledge of working in the trailer/plant/vehicle field preferred.Hours of Work• 8am to 5pm a 42.5 hour week• Pension + benefitsAt Clemence Rogers your right to privacy is important to us.
