Job Description

Production Services CoordinatorMy client is a leading provider of packaging solutions across 36 countries, due to continued growth they are currently seeking a Production Services Coordinator to join their team based in Newtownabbey.This is a Full-Time, 12 month Fixed-Term contract (has the possibility of being extended thereafter)Working hours: Mon to Thurs 7.30am – 4pm and Fri 7.30am - 1pmWith a salary from £25,000 m- £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience).Job Role:You will be responsible for ensuring customer needs are met in a timely manner through the smooth and efficient management of goods and materials through production.Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience within a similar role.
  • Previous experience of using an OMS system.
  • Minimum education standard desirable is ‘A ‘Levels or Vocational equivalent.
  • IT proficient with strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, specifically Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Highly organised and efficient with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring, day to day production is planned in line with customer requirements. Along with completing inventory checking, raw material order processing, and delivery planning.
  • Liaise closely and effectively with the planners to ensure plant requirements are met.
  • Responsible for managing aged stock within warehouses.
  • Assist with customer queries where required.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operational and general office admin activities and supporting other team members when circumstances require.
  • Help promote a culture of health and safety and continuous improvement within the plant.
