Job Description

Don’t miss this opportunity for an experienced food service professional to oversee the new deli at Newtownabbey’s leading enterprise park.Deli Supervisor/ManagerNewtownabbey, BT36 4GN

  • Full Time, Permanent
  • Salary £21,840 - £23,660 (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: 7.30am - 3.00pm, Monday to Friday
Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UKOur client is a highly reputable enterprise park providing professional commercial workspace, conference facilities and business support services to entrepreneurs in and around Newtownabbey.They require a manager to oversee the on-site delicatessen, opening November 2023. The deli will provide a selection of cold food, hot food (which will be made off site).Responsibilities of the job will include:
  • Deli Operations: Stocking, ordering, preparing and serving food & beverages.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Uphold high hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, supervise and manage staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide top-tier service, addressing complaints professionally.
  • Menu Development and Promotion: Develop menus, promote sales, and manage daily updates.
  • Financial Management: Monitor expenses, analyse sales data, and ensure profitability. The deli manager will also be required to liaise closely with their line manager and provide regular updates.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Vendor and Supplier Relations: Maintain strong partnerships for optimal deli operations.
Experience and qualifications:Essential
  • At least 1 years experience in a similar role (within the last 2 years).
  • Level 4 in Food Safety and Hygiene.
Desirable
  • Level 5 in Food Safety and Hygiene.
  • Barista Trained.
Salary and Benefits:
  • £21,840 - £23,660 (depending upon experience)
  • 6% employer contribution to pension.
  • Annual leave: 28 days including public holidays.
