Our client is the UKs biggest end-to-end commercial vehicle fleet management business managing and maintaining a fleet of over 90,000 vehicles across 81 locations.They have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to join the team on a full-time basis, working Monday - Friday with no weekend work.As a Customer Service Advisor, you will work as part of the Maintenance Control Team within the Customer Service Center, having responsibility for maintenance expenditure and providing administrative support on a range of commercial vehicles on varying contracttypes.What youll do as a Customer Service Advisor* Working as part of a team the post-holder will need to communicate with colleagues of differing abilities sharing their experience and knowledge to provide a high level of service delivery.* Authorise maintenance expenditure within agreed parameters whilst ensuring all maintenance records are checked and the approved processes are followed to provide a cost-effective repair solution taking into consideration the need to exceed both business andcustomer expectations* To manage the daily Work in Progress reports ensuring that all jobs are correctly entered on system and that the WIP administration is controlled in line with business requirements* To ensure that the internal authorization systems are managed daily so that job requests are processed or queried without delay.* Seek to drive down repair costs and rates charged by our suppliers by working with the fleet team to ensure that the most cost-effective resources available are utilizedHow you will be successful* Customer service experience in a vehicle based environment.* Knowledge of commercial vehicle repairs, standard times and road transport operations.* High level of administration skills* Self-motivated and able to communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats.* Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision yet is a team player.* Well organised, taking ownership of tasks and being able to work to detail.* High level of UK geographical knowledge and have a good standard of education at GCSE level or equivalent.* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - an understanding of Maintenance Management Systems would be advantageous.What youll get* A competitive salary package is on offer for the right candidates.* Pension scheme* My Staff shop benefits giving a vast selection of discounts and special offers* Cycle to work* Long service awards* Reward & recognition programme* Life cover* Company funded health cash plan* Wellbeing & Employee Assistance ProgrammeAbout Our ClientOur Client, are the UKs biggest commercial fleet management business with over 65 sites and looking after over 80,000 vehicles, they look after clients such as BT, St Johns ambulance, Post Office the AA and many more.Please note all job offers with our client are subject to a standard DBS check
