Due to the quick, personal, and professional service that they deliver they are busier than ever! Our client is looking for an Assistant Manager to join thisbeautiful tearoom in Leicester. Selling fantastic coffee, comforting warm food and delicious treats, you wont ever want to go home!As Assistant Manager you will be the link between the team and Manager. You will be the driving force on the floor, ensuring that the day-to-day operations are running smoothly, that each and every customer receives a warm welcome and enjoy their visit.You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will therefore be able to que manage, resolve any customer issues, keep clean communication lines open between the kitchen and front of house team as well as reporting back to the manager on day-to-day performance.Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that great customer service is delivered by all staff to each customer
• Creating an environment that is warm, welcoming and that sees customer return and tell their friends about.
• Ensuring at busy times that the team understand the days focus, communication is upheld and they are reacting in a quick and efficient manner.
• Be on top of all health and safety regulations in terms of cleanliness, food hygiene and covid regulations.
• Be a team player, have a can-do attitude, and demonstrate this by leading the team from the front.

Ideally you will be from a restaurant, cafe, coffee shop, hospitality environment, with experience in managing teams in a fast-paced environment. You will be knowledgeable about Health and Safety regulations. Most importantly you will be an experienced baristawith a LOVE for Coffee!This is a full-time position - with no evenings!This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and driven Assistant Manager.
