Job Description

THE COMPANYThis company are a global business who design and manufacture electric motor control technology. They have a very strong customer base across Europe, America and Asia. Their customers all have a desire to ensure energy efficiency.THE ROLE

• The Senior Project Manager will oversee high-priority projects (i.e., those needing considerable resources and high levels of functional integration)
• Acting as an entrepreneur to drive project profitability and delivering tangible results in line with economic assumptions up to the close stage gate.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management and oversight of an entire portfolio of projects
• Leading Cross Functional Teams of representatives from R&D, Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations
• Accountability for all aspects of the project over the entire project life (initiate, plan, execute, control, and close)
• Interfacing with all areas affected by the project, including end users, distributors, and vendors.
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables
• Communicating with company executives about the status of specific projects

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Educated to degree level (ideally in a STEM field, e.g., Electrical. IT or Mechanical engineering)
• Recognised project management qualification, for example:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)®
  • APM PMQ or above (or IPMA equivalents)
  • PRINCE2® Practitioner

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of five years of Project Management experience in a technical field
• Full project lifecycle delivery using hybrid Project Management Methodologies
• Experienced user of Enterprise planning, change and configuration management tools
• Experience with New Product Development and Manufacturing projects
• Organisational Change and Business Improvement Experience
• Experience of working with a PMO
