Situated in the Southside of Glasgow (G77), we are delighted to offer the exciting role of Bar and Catering Manager as we enterthe Clubs Historic Centenary Year in 2022.East Renfrewshire Golf Club is a friendly members Club and the Clubhouse boasts wonderful spacious catering facilities with two lounges and one private dining area.The Club is committed to an exciting recent re- launch of its current menu and lounge areas and a great opportunity awaits for the new Bar and Catering Manager. As Bar and Catering Manager you will play a pivotal role in delivering a professional and consistentlyhigh - quality Clubhouse experience throughout this special year and years to come.About the roleThe Bar and Catering Manager is the face of the clubs busy food and beverage operation and reports to the Golf Club manager.As our Bar and Catering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Clubs bar and kitchen. Your duties will include working the bar, leading and training the front of house team, creating staff rotas, maintaining the correctstock levels in line with budgets, promoting the food and beverage operation on the Clubs website and social media platforms as well as organising social events/ private functions in collaboration the Head Chef.This is a full time Permanent position (40 hours a week) which will involve weekend work.About youYou will have experience of managing a bar and/ or catering team. You will be ambitious, flexible, personable and professional. You will always strive to exceed members expectations and will do this by upholding high quality service standards.In return we can offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, hospitality training as well as a share of gratuities.
