Job Description

As our the business continues to grow Speedy now have an exciting new position for a Head of Digital Marketing and eCommercebased in our head office in Haydock.This is a unique experience to join a fast-growing start-up and play a key role in the shaping of the marketing strategy. This is a great opportunity to access fast career growth in a stimulating start-up environment and to take significant ownershipThe main purpose of this role is todrive digital marketing, lead generation, brand awareness and growing Speedy’s digital footprint across the full spectrum of digital channels (Ecommerce, Inbound Marketing and SEO/PPC etc)Key AccountabilitiesProgress/manage the digital marketing strategy to optimise lead generation through all digital channels. Launch inbound marketing capability to support hire and service propositions.Drive Speedy’s Web/e-Commerce customer proposition – specifying insight-led customer journey to shape long term roadmap to deliver digital strategy.Full responsibility for performance, creation and optimisation of all digital channels: SEO, PPC, Online display, Paid Social and in the future, third party relationshipsManage CRO strategy in conjunction with web team to and CRO agency to identify key customer journeys digitally and potential areas of improvement.Provision of data analytics to leverage marketing, transactional and website behaviour to improve tracking, measurement and conversion/performanceManagement and optimization of CRM activities with Sales to deliver improved conversion rates at key transaction stages and handover from MQL to SQLEvaluate, propose and implement launch of marketing automation capability/marketing technology stack to manage progression of prospects to MQLs.Introduce and manage best in class digital partners/agencies to optimise digital channel performanceWork in partnership with IT function in the development of the digital transformation strategyResponsible for content generation from products, specifications and content rich inspirationalResponsible for digital marketing in B2B and B2C Digital channelsResponsible to develop the digital teamWhat you’ll need

  • Experienced Marketer , with extensive experience and proven track record of using/implementing all the tools and techniques of multi-channel digital marketing
  • Customer-led and a history of driving change to benefit the customer
  • Expertise delivering digital campaigns across PPC, SEO Paid Social, Online Display, SEO, CRM
  • Previous experience of developing and implementing insight-driven e-Commerce , web and app channels/propositions
  • Analytical thinker, passionate about quantitative data and compelled to find the right insight in it.
  • Experience using marketing data and tracking platforms such as web analytics
  • Preferably has introduced/deep knowledge of marketing automation platforms
  • A team player, collaborative approach across IT, Sales and Operations
  • Prior experience of tight, results-led performance management of digital agencies.
  • Knowledge of the hire/construction/associated services markets would be an advantage.
