Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Costing Analyst to join our award-winning client basednear Haydock.As a commercial costing analyst you will play a crucial role in ensuring the group has adequate costing templates in place and that annualised, legislative and ad-hoc costing are updated within a strict governance time frame. Your role will also includetracking any changes made for invoicing and forecasting purposes. You will collaborate with various teams, including sales, marketing, finance, operations and purchasing to ensure that the costing templates are always accurate and fit for purpose.You will be responsible for

  • owning the costing templates used across the Group to ensure compliance is within our working parameters.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and provide recommendations when required.
  • Manage the contract database to ensure we capture all contracts and invoicing across the Group.
  • Ensure all annual contract increases are completed and tracked.
  • Support the business units by completing costings as and when required
  • Monitor and track profitability across the group
  • Ensure a One Way of Working culture is adopted across the group
Experience Required
  • Proven experience as a commercial data analyst, finance analyst, estimator, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data modelling.
  • Understanding of general business practices
  • A general understanding of financial packages and accounting principles
  • Sage Intacct is advantageous
Qualifications
  • Degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Competent with the complete suite of Microsoft software including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
