Job Description

Senior Civil Engineer - Required for my client who are a leading consultancy in Structural, Civil and Infrastructure Design. They are looking for a Civil Engineer to join their established forward-thinking office in Newton Abbot.Senior Civil Engineer Position Remuneration

  • Starting salary £30K-£55K DOE
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays with the option to buy more

Senior Civil Engineer Position Overview
  • Responsible for the management of the design and deliverables on Civil Engineering schemes
  • Managing Engineers and Technicians and reporting to the director of Civil Engineering on a daily basis
  • Undertaking designs on roads, drainage and infrastructure projects using your experience to design and organise others in the production of Section 104, 278 and 38 technical Submissions
  • Site meetings/inspections and progress reporting
  • Primary point of contact on projects and work alongside additional team members whilst liaising with other engineering disciplines withing the practice
  • Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and regulatory/statutory authorities
Senior Civil Engineer Position Requirements
  • Competent in the use of AutoCAD, Micro drainage, Civils 3D and PDS
  • 3 years experience within a design practice environment
  • BEng/MSc or equivalent within Civil Engineering
  • A strong understanding of Section 278, 104 and 38 adoption procedures.
  • Design of SuDS, FRA, DMRB, Roads & Highways would be advantageous though not essential
