Job Description

At StAustell Brewery, we take pride in being the largest wholesale distributor ofbeer, wines, spirits and soft drinks across the Southwest.Our teamsengage with thousands ofindependent free trade pubs, clubs, hotels,restaurants and other licensed outlets offering each customer a personalisedservice and years of expertise.We areseeking a passionate and driven Sales Development Manager to work with our newand existing customers within South Devon. They will help maximise the highestprofitable sales through raising awareness of our diverse and exiting range ofproducts.About you:

  • Experience working within a similar Salesfocused role within FMCG/Drinks/Hospitality sectors
  • Use insight to build commercially profitablenew business and a quality customer base.
  • Develop a platform for our own brand beers,tactically using support, POS, and promotions while growing volumes throughyour account base.
  • Maintain regular reviews, journey plans andcall rotas with your account base
  • Excellent communication skills and an abilityto develop strong customer relationships
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure our customerdatabase is maintained with the correct details
  • A good working knowledge of business acumen,commercially aware of all deals, loans, delivery costs, and equipmentarrangements within your area
  • A passion for delivering sales and profittargets
  • Confident presentation skills and the abilityto influence
  • Knowledge of all MS office packages
  • Candidates must live within a commutabledistance of South Devon and North to Exeter
