Personal Assistant to the Headteacher

Job Description

Ivy Education Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional PA to provide efficient, effective and confidential support to the Headteacher at Newton Abbot College. The post holder will need to have previous experience as a PA and have excellent organisationalskills, as well as being a proactive and positive individual who has an excellent eye for detail, is highly organised and has very strong time management skills.The successful candidate will:

• Have a high level of competency in using technology and Microsoft Office and Google workspace (drives, docs). Experience of SIMS is desirable.
• Be able to remain calm when working under pressure, prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to gain credibility at all levels.
• Be passionate about helping students to achieve their very best.
• Be committed to the vision and values of the college.
• Have a sense of humour and the ability to establish strong relationships very quickly.
• Be flexible in their approach and able to adapt as and when the demands of the role require it, including working flexible hours when needed.
• Be a collaborative and trustworthy team player.
