Job Description

Up to £25k DOE | Professional Progression and Development | Newton Abbot based We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator looking for a new and exciting challenge. This is a standalone role in the Heathfield site, reporting to the HR Manager and Site Director who are based in Wales. The successful candidatewill have the opportunity to operate in a fast-paced, innovative environment. As a business, they live and breathe innovation, inspiration and imagination.Travel to Wales for training is required on occasion - so a full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential.40 hours per week Monday - Friday 08:30- 17:00HR Administrator Responsibilities include: -

  • You will be the first point of contact for staff HR queries
  • Maintain the upkeep of the HR database as well as ensure accurate and up-to-date files
  • HR administration, e.g., contracts, letters, holiday entitlements, sick leave and references.
  • Recruitment administration
  • Onboarding: collating new starter information, and inductions and ensuring all relevant employee information is received.
  • Manage leavers administration for example dealing with resignations in a timely manner, remaining holiday balance, return of equipment etc
  • Supporting other team members with projects as required to ensure the continuous improvement of processes across the team
  • Arranging disciplinary and grievance meetings
  • Time and attendance
HR Administrator Requirements include: -
  • 2 Years experience in an HR Administration Role
  • Attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload and deliver to tight timescales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • A good team player, capable of working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • CIPD qualification would be advantageous
  • You must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle, due to required visits to Wales
