This respected court of protection department is very busy and as a result looking to grow the team further.To apply for this role you will need at least 3yrs+ PQE within court of protection matters. Both Solicitors and Legal Executives are encouraged to apply.You willadvise elderly, disabled and vulnerable individuals in the everyday execution of their financial and personal affairs.Your caseload will be full and very broad to include preparingCOP applications (including Deputy applications and ancillary applications), makingrepresentations at Court, planning, organisation and monitoring of financial affairs, household (to include payroll of care staff), preparation of annual Deputy Reports to the OPG and dealing with Costs Draftsman and the Senior Court Costs Office in relation to billing to include e-billing.Court of Protection experience is essential.ACTAPS and/or STEP membership is beneficial, but not essential.As a mid-level member of the team you will also supervise and mentor a legal assistant with their learning. Supervisory experience would be beneficial, but not essential.This is a very family friendly firm.
