Due to the award of new projects and organisational growth, a leading engineering group focusing on advanced technologies has a new vacancy for a Test Software Engineer. Working on several innovative projects you will be responsible for developing testingprocesses, schedules and conducting testing to ensure products meet with design requirements and specifications.Commutable from: Bristol, Filton, Cardiff, Abergavenny, Caerphilly, Chepstow, Newport, Bridgend, Monmouth Salary: £ 35,000 - £ 40,000 p.a. + hybrid working + excellent benefitsSuitable for: Software Engineer, Software Development Engineer, Test Software Engineer.The RoleWork on projects working closely with the Project Manager and Technical Authority (TA) to deliver tasks on time and to scopeCapture and document design requirements and specificationsCreate and implement embedded softwareCreate and develop software for graphical user interfaceCreate platform for automating testingTechnical reporting to project team and wider audience to demonstrate regular progressAdhere to the companys design standardsThe PersonDegree in relevant science, engineering or related discipline or equivalent industrial experience.Experience with Python, LabView and C CodeBasic understanding of electronics including reading schematics and PCB documentsExperience with Microcontrollers, PICs dSPICs, ATSAMs, TI microcontrollersCommunications Interfaces; UART, SPI, I2C, CAN FD, USBTest Development experience (GPIB)Understanding of Photonics, Power, and RF applications would be beneficial but not essentialFor more information and to apply for the role of Test Software Engineer, send a CV to Jay Hunt
