Were delighted to be helping the business expand their development team with the recruitment of a Senior Developer, taking ownership of the power platform development team and guiding the development life cycle to deliver innovativeand robust solutions.The role offers primarily remote working, with the core requirement being once a month onsite in either Newport or Swansea, but you should be prepared to be onsite once a week on occasion.The Company:Pobl Group was formed in 2016 by the merger of Seren Group with Grwp Gwalia and is the largest organisation in Wales delivering affordable housing, care, and support. We are embarking on an exciting programme of tech-enabled change and this role will play a key part in developing technology solutionsthat really make a difference in peoples lives."https://Role:As a Senior Developer, youll be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise, designing, developing, and maintaining high quality software applications that meet the needs of Pobl and their customers. You will play a crucial role in leadinga small team of Software Developers, collaborating with stakeholders, and guiding the software development lifecycle, to deliver innovative and robust solutions. Some of your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Utilise in-depth software development experience to design and build complex software applications.
• Design, developer, and customise Power Apps canvas apps, model-driven apps, and portals to create institute and user-friendly solutions.
• Utilise Power Automate, Plugins and .NET applications to automate business processes, integrate systems, and streamline workflows.
• Leverage deep understanding of Power Platform, programming languages, software architecture, and industry best practices to create efficient and maintainable software systems.
• Line-manage, mentor, and provide technical guidance to a small team of developers, conducting code reviews, and ensuring code quality and best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, programming languages, and industry trends to continuously improve skills and incorporate innovative solutions into software development projects.

Competencies:

• Self-motivated and performance driven with a "can do" attitude.
• Analytical thinking with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Logical approach to problem solving.

Technical skills:

• At least 3+ years experience working with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with C#, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Knowledge of the ITIL framework.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall
• Experience of working across a complex organisation and managing conflicting priorities.

Desirables:

• Experience with line management responsibilities.
• Knowledge of enterprise level applications such as housing management, finance, procurement, and HR systems.
• Experience with master data management (MDM).
